Interaction between Vice General Manager CFTC -& Chairman PSIEC with Special Delegates of CICU

During a visit to Canton Fair (China), A meeting was held at Guangzhou between China Foreign Trade Centre Group Delegations and the Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertaking (CICU) Delegation, wherein the following points were discussed:-

GOP sought support from CFTC to develop the Exhibition Centre and organize Fairs and bilateral trade between Punjab & and China. (CFTC assured, the same and will send a delegation to Punjab).

GOP asked CFTC for a datasheet of the Canton fair, like style of Promotions, support to Exhibitors, and Roles of different subsidiaries of China government officials (Ministry of Foreign Trade) to host Canton (CFTC Team assured for the same).

GOP asked for a kind of Strategic Partnership to strengthen trade relations with Chinese companies.

PSIEC Chairman assured to do his best to uplift trade and Exports to shine Punjab.

PSIEC Chairman said that they (GOP) will plan a mega show of the entire product range of Punjab by involving Punjabi NRIs to strengthen their ties with Punjab & and uplift the Exports from Punjab to different parts of the world through our NRI community. The youth of Punjab will also feel connected that they are doing something for their own state, which will contribute to achieving the dream of the Honourable CM of Punjab S. Bhagwant Mann ji to make it "Rangla Punjab" by strengthening economic status. The bilateral meeting was attended by Mr. Honey Sethi, General Secretary CICU, Mr. Didarjeet Singh Lotey, Vice President Mr. Sarbjeet Singh (Export Co-Convenor) & and Mr. Ajay Bharti.

The Canton team said that it is their 134th show in a series to promote Chinese products Globally with a daily footfall of app. 60-70,000 visitors. The fair will happen in 3 phases of different categories.
